What is Chinese Medicine?

Chinese Medicine is based on a world view that sees the cosmos as an unfolding of yin and yang energies. These can be by analogy, earth and heaven, root and branches. Human beings as the link between heaven and earth participate in the interplay of these forces. When you are ill or in pain, there is an imbalance of your yin and yang energies. This disharmony can have many causes ranging from infection to physical or emotional trauma.

Many people are acquainted with Acupuncture and possibly herbs but the world of Chinese Medicine offers many other methods and techniques. When you come to us for treatment, we may use multiple approaches among the five major branches of Chinese Medicine: acupuncture, herbs, diet or nutrition, exercise and meditation. What is especially unique about Chinese Medicine is that we start with you, not your problem. We treat the person, not the condition.

Our Unusual Approach

We are called Attentive Dragon because we pay attention to you. We treat only one patient at a time. We listen to you and provide time-consuming treatments like moxabustion which are so beneficial. When you are in our office, we give you our full attention. You are our focus and our only concern.
